List of Agreements/Requirements

We (parent and student) have reviewed the Roosevelt Alternative School Behavior Management Plan and dress code with the principal/designee. We agree to the conditions and requirements as outlined in the plan. By signing this List of Agreements/Requirements, the parent and student acknowledge understanding and agree to the conditions set forth in the contracts, student codes of conduct and notifications.

_______­­­­_ ATTENDANCE CONTRACT: State Law requires the student to be in attendance in order to comply with the policies governing student attendance, and to successfully complete the student’s placement in DAEP.

 

_________ BEHAVIORAL CONTRACT: The student is expected to comply with the requirements of  the District   SCOC and the RAS Student Code of Conduct. The student is responsible for his/her behavior.  RAS students will follow a Behavior Management Plan (BMP) to address student misbehavior.  A student’s placement at Roosevelt Alternative School will be extended for misbehavior.

 

_________ BUS RIDER’S CODE OF CONDUCT: The bus is an extension of the school and the student is expected   to comply with state and local policies in order to ride the bus.  In addition, two (2) suspensions for classroom/campus misbehavior will also result in loss of bus transportation.

 

________ COUNSELING CONSENT FORM: The parent gives consent for RAS to provide counseling and related services.

 

____________ CELLULAR PHONES AND ELECTRONIC DEVICES:  Cell phones will be turned off and turned in to the security officer.  Cell phones will be returned at dismissal.  The student may not bring any electronic device including I-Pod’s, head sets, CD player or electronic games to RAS.

 

____________ EXTENDED PLACMENT / ADDED DAYS:  Student understands that behavior involving walking out of class or leaving campus without permission is not allowed.  Participating in either of these behaviors will result in additional days at R.A.S. plus removal to Level III for length of time to be determined by Principal.

 

______________ NOTIFICATION TO COUNTY JUVENILE PROBATION DEPARTMENT: Chapter 37 (Sec. 37.010) of Senate Bill I requires that the school district notify the county juvenile probation department when a student is placed in DAEP.

 

________ PROHIBITED ON HOME CAMPUS: Student understands he/she cannot return to their home campus until their placement at Roosevelt is completed.   The student may be assigned additional time at RAS if reported on their home campus.

 

________ ALL ACADEMIC REQUIREMENTS: Must be completed before exiting RAS.  The student must also successfully complete a social skills/character education course.

 

________The student will follow the dress code as explained in the campus brochure and

                    during orientation.

 

________  PARENT/GUARDIAN AND STUDENT MUST ATTEND EXIT HEARING AT

                   ROOSEVELT BEFORE STUDENT CAN RETURN TO HOME CAMPUS.

ESCUELA ALTERNATIVE ROOSEVELT

Lista de Acuerdos/Requisitos

Nosotros (padres y alumnos) hemos repasado el Manual de Orientacion y Comportamiento de esta escuela con el director o representate. Nuestra firma en esta lista de Acuerdos y Requisitos afirma que entendemos y estamos de acuerdo con todas las condiciones en los contratos, los condigos de conducta de alumnos y notificaciones.

_______CONTRATO DE ASISTENCIA:  El contrato de asistencia esta descrito en la guia. Este requiere que los alumnos asistan a la escuela para cumplir con las leyes de Texas y que completen con exito su plazo en nuestra escuela.

 

______CONTRATO DE COMPORTAMIENTO: Se espera que el alumno cumpla con los requisitos del contrato incluyendo el Codigo de Conducta Ofensas y Consecuencias de RAS. El alumno es responsable por su comportamiento.  La escuela Roosevelt seguira las reglas de comportamiento que estan dispuestas en el Behavioral Management Plan (BMP) para dar direccion a el comportamiento del estudiente.  La estancia del estudiante en Roosevelt Alt. School podra ser extendida por mal comportamiento.

 

______ CODIGO DE CONDUCTA DE AUTOBUS: El autobus es parte (extension) de la escuela. Se espera que el alumno cumpla con los requisitos para viajar en el autobus.El privilegion de transportacion sera suspendida si el estudiante tiene dos suspenciones dentro el plantal escolar.

 

______ ESTANCIA EXTENDIDA / DIAS ADICIONALES: Los estudiantes necesitan entender que salirse del salon de clases o de la escuela sin permiso no es permitido.  Al hacer alguno de estos tipos de comportamiento resultara en dias adicionales en la escuela Alternativa; aparte de mandarlos al cuarto de castigo por el plazo que determine el Director.

 

______ FORMA DE PERMISO DE CONSEJAMIENTO: Los padres permiten que nuestra escuela provea aconsejamiento y servicios relacionados.

 

______ TELEFONES CELLULAR Y JUEGOS ELECTRONICOS:  Telefones cellular necessitan estar apagados y entregado con el official y se los regresan al fin de el dia.  El estudiante no puede traer juejos electronicos incluyendo I-Pod’s, o otros juejos electronicos a la escuela RAS.

 

______ NOTIFICACION AL DEPARTAMENTO DE PROVACION JUVENIL: La ley (capitulo 37 seccion 37.010) del estatuto del cenado I, quiere que el distrito escolar le informe al departamento de provacion juvenil cuando el estudiante es referido a la escuela alternativa.

 

_______ PROIVIDO IR A ESCUELA DE ORIGEN: El estudiante entendera que el/ella no podra assistir o visitar la escuela de la cual provienen hasta que cumpla su periodo mandatorio en  RAS.  Se asignara una semana mas en RAS al estudiante que sea reportado visto en su escuela de origen.

 

_______ REQUISITOS ACADEMICOS: Seran requeridos antes de regresar a  escuela origen.

 

_______El estudiente cuplira con el reglamento de codigo de estudio como se explica en el folleto de la escuela Roosevelt Alternative y durante la orientacion.

 

_______PADRE/GUARDIAN Y ESTUDIANTE DEBERAN  PRESENTARSE EN LA ESCUELA ROOSEVELT ALTERNATIVA PARA UNA JUNTA CON EL DIRECTOR Y DESIGNADOS PARA PODER REGRESAR A LA ESCUELA DE ORIGEN.
